Who is the JSU Presidents Conference for?
JSU PC is for JSU leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to JSU. If you are in a current leadership position in your club, you are invited to register.
Who will be there?
200+ JSU leaders representing 10 regions and over 30 cities from across North America!
How does registration work? Am I automatically accepted?
You may register via your region. Regional registration links can be found at jsu.org/jsupc2023. If you are unsure which region you are part of, please reach out to the contact people below! Registration will close on September 27th. We are limited in capacity and your JSU staff will be in touch if your application is accepted.
What is the program like?
The program is highly compressed and jam packed with skill-building sessions, learning, and fun! The program will include tracks as well as interactive keynote presentations. Day one will focus on their smaller track communities and day two will focus on how you can bring your new leadership skills back to your JSU and community. You will be invited to register for specific tracks in the next few weeks.
The tracks are: 1. Jewish Leadership 2. Social Entrepreneurship
3. Responding to Antisemitism 4. Israel Education
Every track will include interactive workshops, high level guest speakers and skill-based sessions. Please rest assured there is no poor choice, each track will be amazing! You will receive the full schedule for JSU PC approximately one week before the conference.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. JSU PC is a professional conference and participants are requested to dress accordingly (business casual).
Where and when does the conference take place?
DoubleTree, Somerset, New Jersey
The program launch is Sunday, October 22nd at 12:00pm.
The program ends at 3:30 on Monday October 23rd.
Will there be time to chill and meet other people?
Absolutely! You will have the opportunity to meet fellow JSU leaders at programming in addition to unstructured time.
What are the travel arrangements? Who deals with the flight or ground transportation?
Your regional representative will be in touch about your travel and will be your point of contact throughout the program. Regional reps will be responsible for sending in rooming to us on September 27th.
What is rooming like and can I request to room with my friends?
Your regional representative will be in touch with you and will do their best to accommodate your rooming request. There are 2 people per room.
I have more questions, who do I reach out to?
Your JSU Staff person is your primary contact, but if you are unsure who that is or need additional assistance, please reach out to the JSU PC team! We would love to hear from you! You can reach out to Deeni Hass hassd@ncsy.org, Rabbi Shlomo Mandel mandelsh@ncsy.org and operations Shani Muschel muschels@ncsy.org.
