Skibaton

Get excited for our annual Skibaton! Taking place on the stunning Lake Tahoe, we will gather for an inspiring weekend full of food, fun, friends, and growth. WE ARE LIMITING THIS SHABBATON TO 100 HIGH SCHOOLERS. Here is a rough schedule below – a more detailed schedule and packing list will be sent 2 weeks before the event.

This Shabbaton is in memory of Rabbi Henry Ramek Z”L, as well as partially sponsored by the Wilkoff family, the Isaac Foundation and Touro University.

Rough Schedule:

Friday February 7th – Sunday February 9th:

  • Busses from South Bay and SF area to Oakland.
  • Breakfast in Oakland
  • Travel to Tahoe!
  • Orientation, ice breakers, snacks and chill time
  • Intro to Shabbat, and various breakout session (Traditional Tefillah, meditation, discussion based topics, and more)
  • Delicious Shabbat dinner
  • Free time, games, ping pong, breakout sessions – lots of options!
  • Curfew

Shabbat Day:

  • Optional Traditional Tefillah
  • Breakfast and late wake up
  • Breakout sessions on various topics including Israel Advocacy
  • Delicious Shabbat lunch!
  • Free time, games, ping pong, breakout sessions -even more options:)
  • Havdala concert!
  • Dinner and fun evening activity!
  • Pack lunches for Sunday

Sunday

  • Skiing all day at Sierra-at-Tahoe!
  • Bus home! Stops in East Bay, SF, Palo Alto
