JSU Summer Sweepstakes Official Rules
No Purchase or Donation Necessary to Enter or Win.
JSU Summer (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Southern NCSY, a project of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (the “Orthodox Union”), a non-profit organization, having an address at 40 Rector St, New York, NY 10006 (“Sponsor”).
ELIGIBILITY:
The Sweepstakes is open to current legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 14 years of age at the time of entry and who complete the online sweepstakes form subject to the terms and conditions of these Official Rules (“Entrants”).
Void where prohibited.
Individuals affiliated with Southern NCSY and/or the Orthodox Union, including employees, officers, directors, board members, trustees, fellows, research associates, agents, representatives or independent contractors of the Orthodox Union, or subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, assigns, or any entity connected with this promotion, and each of their immediate families (children, parents, siblings, and spouses) and others living in their households, are not eligible. Southern NCSY and/or the Orthodox Union will determine eligibility in its sole discretion.
ENTRY PERIOD:
Entry begins Every Friday Morning and will be drawn Every Thursday evening through the summer. Starting on June 10 – August 21, 2026.
HOW TO ENTER:
All entries must be made within the Sweepstakes Period, subsequent to the “Entry Begins” date and prior to the “Entry Ends” date. Online entry only.

Sponsor reserves the right to offer special entry periods during certain times which may result in Entrants being granted extra entries during that time.
All contact information provided must be valid, truthful, and current. Entries submitted must be received by the close of the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify false entries or entries suspected of being false. Persons discovered entering under several names will be disqualified. Only complete valid entries will be accepted.
All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.

Alternative Method of Entry: You may also enter by mailing a handwritten 3 x 5 card with your full name, postal address, email address and telephone number to NCSY Attention: JSU Summer, 40 Rector Street, New York, NY 10006. Only one card will be allowed per envelope and only one such entry may be submitted per day (as determined by the postmark on each envelope) by each person.

Non-cash prizes may be provided either as actual items or as cash value, entirely at the discretion of Sponsor. All prizes are awarded “as is” and are non-transferable. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted, provided however that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable for any reason.
SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING:
Weekly drawings will be held every Thursday night at 8:00 PM during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor reserves the right to modify drawing dates and times in its sole discretion.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER:
Each qualified entry will be entered into the applicable weekly drawing and milestone raffles based on the number of total participants during the Sweepstakes Period. Winners will be drawn randomly by the Sponsor during the weekly drawings held every Sunday night at 8:00 PM. Milestone raffles will be conducted when each participation threshold is reached.
The winner(s) will be notified by email at the email address provided by Entrant. Prize winner(s) may also be contacted on the night of the drawing. Winner(s) will be required to respond within seven (7) days of attempted notification. Failure to respond within seven days may result in forfeiture of the prize and Sponsor may randomly select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries.
Winner(s) may also be sent an affidavit of eligibility/liability and publicity release (“Release”) in order to accept the Prize. Winners are required to sign a release. If the winner is under the age of 18, the Release must be co-signed by the winner’s legal parent or guardian. Unless restricted by law, winner(s) will be required to complete and return the Release within fifteen (15) days from the date of notification.
By accepting the prize, winners grant permission for the Sponsor to use the winners’ name, photograph(s), likeness, and other identifying information for future advertising, publications, promotional materials, and social media without compensation unless prohibited by law.
Sponsor will not be obligated to make multiple attempts to contact the winner.
As a condition of receiving a prize, the winner may be required to complete and return a Form W-9 and any other required tax documentation. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold applicable taxes from the prize or require the winner to remit the amount of required withholding prior to distribution of the prize.
ODDS:
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
CONDITIONS:
Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules. By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its related entities together with their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent companies, directors, employees, officers, licensees, licensors, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or use of any prize.
The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, Sponsor may select potential winner(s) in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to termination.
Any and all disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes shall be determined by binding arbitration before the Vaad Hadin V’Horaah, Rabbinical Court in New City, New York, an Orthodox Beit Din. The ruling and award of such Orthodox Beit Din will be final, binding, non-appealable, and legally enforceable.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES.
PUBLICITY:
By submitting an entry, Entrants agree that the Sponsor has the right to use any Entrant’s name, photographs, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, city and state address, and/or prize information for publicity, promotional, or advertising purposes worldwide and in all forms of media without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
PRIVACY:
All personal information collected by Sponsor will be used for administration of the Sweepstakes. In addition, all personal information collected by Sponsor will be used to send Entrants relevant programming opportunities subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy. Entrants may opt out of future emails by following the opt-out instructions contained in such emails. Please refer to Sponsor’s privacy policy located at:
